The village of Swampton lies on the eastern fringes of the Great Swamp, from which it gained its rather unimaginative name. It's a rather small village that is often overlooked by anyone of real import, the place is rarely visited by traders and the like. Whilst it suffers from the occasional Lizardkin attack, especially over the summer months the villages somewhat undesirable location has stopped it from being targetted by denizens of darkness.
Swampton has a fair number of herbalists whom have settled in the village to be closer to the great Swamp, where many of Ormgards rarest herbs can be found.
